In 1995 Beth El purchased ten acres of ground at the corner of Kresson and Evesham Roads in Voorhees, NJ. On that site, the Joel and Linda Appel Campus, we built our Drew and Melissa Silver Katz Educational Center. From just eighteen students in our first pre-school class we have grown our Early Childhood Center into one of the largest in South Jersey with well over 200 students currently enrolled. In addition, our Religious School has virtually doubled in size since our move.

The next stage of our plan involves consolidating our campuses. While we have a long history at our Chapel Avenue site, we believe that it is absolutely essential that our students worship in the same place that they learn. They must come to understand that the purpose of a good Jewish education is to mold them into dedicated Jewish adults committed to Jewish ritual, prayer, study, and observance. Consolidating our campuses to our Voorhees location will bring the full spectrum of Jewish religious expression under one roof.
